Our Launch was held at the Adelaide Central School of Art at 6pm on Saturday 9th November 2019.
A crowd at capacity comprising friends from different walks of life were there to support us.

Our heartfelt thanks go to His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC the Governor of South Australia, our Patron, and Mrs Le for their support and encouragement.

We thank Adelaide Central School in particular Penny Griggs CEO and  Andrew Purvis, curator, for their support.

Our early supporters and donors who know who they are are very much appreciated.

We also thank the artists who very generously loaned their works for a most unique exhibition: Rod Taylor AM, Anna Platten, Chris Orchard, Trena Everuss, Lisa Young, Rob Gutteridge, Johnnie Dady, Roy Ananda, Arthur Phillips, John Foubister and Melanie Fulton.  If not for limited space and time we would have had more on the walls!

We also thank Shingleback wines for kindly sponsoring the wine for the evening.

None of this would have been possible without the help of not only all the members of the Board but also their families who stepped in and helped make the proceedings of the day go smoothly. Thank you Haneen Martin, Tanya Young, Michael Constantine, Geoff Martin, Ian Young, Cooper Young and Tallal Martin.

We announced our first (our flagship) project The Mahmood Martin Delima Arts Residency to Rimbun Dahan, Selangor, Malaysia. This is to be for 3 months and we will be funding 2 visual artists for 2020.

Future residencies will be open to ALL forms of creative art, performance, dance, music, writing and curating.

There is no age limit and applicants with small families will not be excluded.

MMF is required to work with DGR1 organisations. It has formed its first alliance in the arts and that is with Guildhouse.

Enquiries welcome
